Is this a security audit or penetration test?
This service reviews application health and technical direction. It can identify concerns in the areas examined, but does not assume a comprehensive security assessment, penetration test, or certification. Specialist security testing needs its own agreed scope.
Does a software audit check licence compliance?
The focus here is source code, architecture, and the application’s ability to support your business. Software asset management and third-party licence compliance audits are different services. We agree the questions you need answered before starting.
What access will you need?
Typically we need agreed access to source code, documentation, and people who understand the application. A test environment or deployment information may also be useful. We define access and confidentiality requirements before the review.
Can you help with technical due diligence?
Yes. An application review can inform an acquisition, investment, or handover decision, scoped to the questions that decision raises. Financial, legal, and specialist assurance work stays with the appropriate advisers.
What happens after the review?
