AI Strategy

AI strategy built around useful work and clear rules

People are trying AI, leaders want a plan, and the rules are unclear. We help you choose useful opportunities and turn those decisions into practical guidance for your team. Work with Canadian AI consultants who also build and deploy the tools they recommend.

Decide where AI belongs in your business

Plan AI use around business needs, information, and ownership. We can draft operational guidance, with legal, privacy, and security requirements reviewed by your appointed advisers.

We review current use, assess candidate workflows, and agree priorities. You receive recommendations and next steps; implementation, education, and pilots are separately scoped.

What the engagement can include

  • Current AI use and business-needs review
  • Use-case discovery and prioritization
  • Value, feasibility, and risk considerations
  • Tool-selection criteria
  • Data and access requirements
  • Draft acceptable-use guidance
  • Human review and escalation rules
  • Roles, ownership, and approval responsibilities
  • Adoption roadmap and success measures
  • Recommendations for a first pilot

Questions about AI consulting

How is this different from an AI readiness assessment?

An AI readiness assessment reviews the agreed environment and readiness gaps. Strategy work addresses broader business priorities, use cases, and ownership. Policy guidance, adoption planning, and pilots are not assumed part of the entry assessment.

Will you write an AI policy we can use?

We can help draft operational guidance around your agreed tools, information, and review rules. Your organization approves the policy, with legal, privacy, HR, and security input as needed. The service does not replace professional advice on your obligations.

Do we have to use Microsoft Copilot?

No single tool is assumed. We review the task, information, integration needs, and constraints before recommending an approach. The answer may be an existing tool, a custom application, or a process change without AI.

Does the engagement include staff training or a live pilot?

Those can be scoped as additional work once the priorities and requirements are clear. We agree the audience, activities, and measures separately. A strategy or policy engagement does not automatically include software deployment or a pilot.

How do you judge whether an AI idea is worth pursuing?

We assess the work, available information, expected value, and ability to check results. Your business owners help define the starting point and success measures. We recommend a focused next step rather than assuming every candidate should become a build.
