Universal Product Code (UPC)*

Universal product code (UPC) or barcode number that appears on your product packaging.

Product Name*

Product name as it appears on packaging or in your vendors’ point of sale system (could include volume/units).

Brand Name*

Your company or parent brand name.

Made in Canada*

Does this product meet the requirement that at least 51% of the direct costs of producing or manufacturing this good were incurred in Canada?

Product of Canada*

Does this product meet the requirement that all or virtually all (at least 98%) of the production or manufacturing costs were incurred in Canada?

Verified by*

Your company name as verification source.

An internal identification number you may use to represent the product.

Is there any cost to join the Verified Partner Program?

Our Verified Partner Program is completely free to join for all Canadian manufacturers, producers, creators, suppliers, retailers, wholesalers, distributors, importers, exporters, packagers, and private labellers.

How long does the verification process take?

From submission to complete product database upload into our system, our verification process could take up to 5-7 business days to complete entirely.

Can we update our product information later if any changes in manufacturing occur?

Absolutely! Simply redownload our product data template, update all product information changes, and email checkthelabel@punchcard.io to re-verify your product database.

How do consumers see our verified information?

When users scan your product barcode in-store using the Check the Label mobile app, they’ll see your verified product information along with a featured Verified Partner Badge.

How often is product information reviewed?

Check the Label is committed to providing accurate information to Canadian consumers. All verified data is subject to periodic review to maintain the integrity of our database.
